TIBET means The Heights (from the Turkic word Tobad);
or The Heaven (from the Sanskrit word Trivishtapa).
the abode of the Brahmanas who attain salvation.

China is རྒྱ་ནག། (rGya.nag); རྒྱ་མི། (rGya.mi)
Of course, Tibet is not China.
China means the Chinese civilization (華夏,Huáxià)
